Project BL:
This is the foundation of the Moës BL project. It is a modernized Moës type BL locomotive, originally from a brickyard in Seclin in the North of France.
Around the years 2000 to 2005, this machine was recovered by Olivier Ladriere. He took it down, but the project sat on hold for many years due to time constraints on his part, despite his regrets. The locomotive remained stored away in a shed, patiently waiting to be taken care of. My father, because of his professional commitments and his involvement in standard gauge machines, could not devote time to these locomotives. My own interest in these machines was sparked about 4-5 years ago.
About a year ago, when we went to see the machine, we unfortunately discovered that unscrupulous individuals had gained access to our hangar, where our two other BL locomotives, equipped with original type B engines , were stored. This situation required a rescue operation to preserve our engines.

In September 2022, we undertook the rescue of the B-type engines. Now, in August 2023, I have salvaged the frame of the machine. This is where the locomotive will return to its original appearance, and we will document this process through attached photos and videos.

The machine was taken out of its shed on 21/08/2023. I cleaned the chassis in order to obtain a clean base for my future work.
