O&K 8335:

Orenstein & Koppel brand diesel engine machine, left the factory in Nordhausen on 10 February 1938 for the Belgian 0&K branch in Brussels. It was sold to the Briqueterie C. Allard rue du débarcadère in Marcinelle, where it will provide services until the late 1960s. The early 1970s marked the end of this abandoned brickyard. In the pre-war period and during it, the brickyard in question was operated with a workforce from Flanders by the week, this one was delivered to the games of the neighborhood kids on the weekend. This is how Robert Ladrière knew this locomotive like the other children of the neighboring streets, this one being at the center of their games. In 1973, he decides to contact the owner of the brickworks and recovers this childhood memory, stores it at the bottom of the garden under a makeshift shelter made with old minewood. In 1995, Olivier Ladrière undertook the restoration of this machine. A job that required a lot of patience and always a small helping hand from his grandfather. A few months before Robert Ladrière’s death, Olivier managed to surprise him so much. He could finally see his protégé in working order.

Since then, when she is not at home, she makes outings in exhibitions or demonstration on various networks or even on "flying lanes" posed for events. Such as here at Bois du Cazier located 500 m from his former company. Very few copies of this model still exist today.
